Grands Prix Quebec / Montreal 2014
LA QUÉBÉCOISE (September 13) / LA MONTRÉALAISE (September 7) CYCLOSPORTIVE
When CyclingRevealed first attended the UCI’s WorldTour racing the excitement of seeing the elite riders of our beloved sport was huge. But a small piece of the excitement was missing. For the GP Montreal in 2013 CCB Racing (my home club) organized a trip to see the race and enjoy the fabulous International cuisine. Their trip did include an unofficial club ride around Montreal. Instantly the “small piece” was no longer missing.
The small missing piece of excitement was not beyond the thoughts of the Canadian Organizers of the UCI racing. Serge Arsenault and his team announced the official launch of La Québécoise Cyclosportive 2014, a ride to be held on Saturday, September 13, 2013 around the Greater Québec City Region. In addition to Quebec City’s ride, Sunday, September 7, Montreal will welcome riders to participate in this new International cycling adventure and give cycling fans a feel for the World Class race course of the Montréal Grand Prix Cycliste.
Ride Quebec! Ride Montreal! GET THERE IF YOU CAN!!!
