Everything is BIGGER in Texas including the Welcome awaiting the racers, fans, and newcomers to high level cyclocross racing. 

Austin is known as the “Live Music Capital of the World” (great video) and has its venues ready for great racing and even better after race celebrations.

If you are not staying then you must visit the Driskill Hotel on 6th Street:

The Driskill is reported to be haunted!!!  If you’re staying there ask for Room #525… if you dare! The Driskill is a Grand Old Texas Hotel and well worth the time to explore.

Also visit the grounds of the Texas State House to view the historic Texas monuments:



AND for New England Patriots fans, there is a “Patriots Bar” on 6th Street!!!



Come to Austin and enjoy the racing and the experience!!!  As Davy Crocket said “You can all go to hell; I will go to Texas.”
