Cycling's definition of a Classic is: “A single day race of the highest standard with lasting significance.” Of these races Five (5) are known as the “Monuments”: Milan-San Remo, Ronde van Vlaanderen (Tour of Flanders), Paris-Roubaix, Liege-Bastogne-Liege, and Giro di Lombardia.

Our studies of the '5 Monuments of Cycling' have revealed the great stories and secret treasures that make the Classics so special. As is human nature, everyone has an opinion about the classification of the BEST.
