Born: September 26, 1905, Vienna, Austria

Died: March 5, 1990

Professional: from 1926 to 1949

Max Bulla is the best racing cyclist that Austria has ever produced. He had wins at the Championship of Zurich and the Tour of Switzerland. Bulla also had 3 stage wins in the 1931 Tour de France and 2 stage wins in the 1935 Vuelta a Espana. A very strong Italian-Austrian climber he also placed fifth in the 1931 World Championship.
