* World Road Race Champion / Giro d'Italia Champion:Ercole Baldini (Ita) (1933-2022) Italian cyclist who as an amateur he won an Olympic Gold Medal in the road race in 1956. He turned professional and won the 1958 World Road Race title and the 1958 Giro d'Italia.
* Vuelta a Espana Champion / Giro d'Italia Champion: Vittorio Adorni (Ita) (1937-2022) Italian professional road racing cyclist, he turned professional in 1961 and won the 1965 Giro d’Italia. Three years later he became the 1968 World Road Race Champion. He died at 85.
* Giro d'Italia Champion: Arnaldo Pambianco (Ita) (1935-2022) Italian professional road racing cyclist (1956-1966), the highlight of his career was his overall win in the 1961 Giro d'Italia. He died at the age of 86.
* World Road Race Champion: Harm Ottenbros (Ned) (1943-2022) Dutch road bicycle racer who raced as a professional from 1967 to 1976. He is best remembered for winning the 1969 World Road Race Championship in Zolder, Belgium. He died at 78.
Julio Jiménez (Spa) (1934-2002) Spanish road cyclist (King of the Mountains: Tour de France 1965, 66, 67 & Vuelta a España 1963, 64, 65), died at 87.
