Achiel Buysse Makes History
Tour of Flanders champion in 1940 and 1941 Achiel Buysse made history in 1943, becoming the first three time champion. Driving a hard pace Buysse entered the velodrome in Gent with Albert Sercu and Camille Beeckman. Buysse dominated the sprint and took the victory.
