Van Hevel's Big Gear Wins Flanders
The 4th edition of Tour of Flanders raced 248 km from Gent to the velodrome in Gentbrugge.
Jules Van Hevel (Individual) and Albert Dejonghe (Individual) broke away in the closing kilometers and entered the velodrome together. Van Hevel winning the two-man sprint.
After the tactical mistakes of the 1919 Ronde, Jules Van Hevel (Bel) rode flawlessly and crossed the finish line for the 1920 Tour of Flanders victory.
